We have sent a copy of the stories to the Cougars on the Prowl authors for their review. Many of the authors have commented on how much they enjoyed reading the other stories.
Cathy Hall author of School Days wrote: "Read my story and bio and everything looks fine to me. (Okay, I read Donna's, too, and had to laugh about her story with a tutor. It's weird how alike our writing is!)" Donna Volkenannt's story "Look Back, But Don't Stare" is the lead story in the anthology.
Publication of A Shaker of Margaritas: Cougars on the Prowl is on schedule for November. The book should be available in time for your holiday shopping!
We'll keep you posted!

I enjoyed reading the other stories, too! There's something for everyone in the book - I can't wait to see the final product!
ReplyDeleteHi Linda,
ReplyDeleteI agree with June. There is something for everyone in the anthology.
It was fun reading the other stories, and there are similaries in my story and Cathy's--a tutor, algebra, oh, yes and a younger guy. I joke that Cathy is my fifth sister, even though we have never met and she lives in Georgia and I'm in Missouri.
Can't wait to hold the book in my hands.
Let's go, Cougars!
Donna
Thanks, everyone. The book is coming along nicely.
ReplyDeleteSometimes blogger frustates me. I can't even comment on my own blog!!! Linda
When do you expect the book to be hot off the presses, Linda? I'd like to blog about it.
